Your study, your chosen pathway …
They say you can please some of the people some of the time — but you can never please all of the people all of the time.
We might slightly and humbly beg to differ with this new training offering which opens up Pilmaya’s popular (and life-changing) Transpersonal Yoga (TY) teacher training to those who want live sessions, those who want to study at their own pace with On Demand modules and those who prefer a hybrid mix with some self study supported by 1:1 sessions with course creator, Shaura Hall. (You can learn more about Shaura who is the founder of Pilamaya here: Shaura Hall profile).
Here then are you options for taking this training in the way that is best suited to your current commitments.
TY Pathway Options & Pricing
Option 1: On-Demand Self-Study
£250 per module — paid in full at purchase
Study entirely in your own time and at your own pace. Each module includes 8-12 hours of recorded yoga, yoga nidra and meditation practices; audio science presentations; a manual, handouts and practice sheets; group discussions and learning recordings from the 2025–26 cohort; and a guided lifecycle individuation exercise. This pathway is entirely independent — no homework marking, no peer group, no live access to Shaura.
Option 2: On-Demand with Mentoring Session
£400 per module — paid in full at purchase
Everything included in self-study, plus a dedicated 90-minute live session with Shaura per module to ask questions and engage more deeply with the material, including discussion of session plans. No homework marking or home group practice.
Option 3: Full In-Person Course
£2,200 — payment plans available on request
100 live contact hours across the full seasonal year, plus complete on-demand materials. Includes homework feedback for each module, home group practice, and a peer learning community. The richest and most supported pathway through the training.
Option 4: Already studying on-demand? Add the in-person experience.
£999 — any unused mentoring sessions offset against the cost at £150 each.
Certification
Each pathway carries its own certification reflecting actual hours completed. The full in-person course certifies 200 hours. The on-demand pathway certifies 110 hours (100 hours self-study plus 10 hours live mentoring, where applicable).
A note on modules
Modules may be purchased individually and are paid in full at point of purchase. No bundle pricing is available.
All sessions take place on Fridays. Full days run 10am–6pm; workshops run 10am–12pm.
TY students create an altar for each module/element as part of the training in the power of ritual. Here (below) are some that have been made by the current cohort.

The Modules incorporate the five elements that are the basis of the Chinese Wu Xing tradition/philosophy of healing and interconnectedness

Who knows where the TY pathways might lead you …

The 2027/28 Integration Psychotherapy training is now open for expressions of interest
The TY training is an established pathway onto Pilamaya’s prestigious Integration Psychotherapy diploma training which has now been running for a number of years, sending well qualified psychotherapists — many with a yoga background — out into the world to offer a unique multi-dimensional framework that meets clients where they are, rather than expecting them to slot into a rigid therapeutic framework.
You can learn more about this training from our new Pilmaya Podcast which is published on all the major podcast platforms, and online here: Pilamaya Integration Psychotherapy (IP) Diploma course
The two-year level 5 diploma course is built on content that has been taught through various Pilamaya trainings since 2013 and new intake dates for a 2027/2028 cohort are now released along with an invitation for ‘expressions of interest’ in taking this training to become a qualified psychotherapist. The first step is a screening call with course director, Shaura Hall. You can book that call here: https://calendly.com/shaura-hall/consultation
IP Graduate Testimonials…
🦋✨ This course deepened my understanding …
“The IP training has been one of the most valuable experiences I have had both professionally and personally. It has deepened my understanding of both myself and my clients. The emphasis on integration, relationship and embodied awareness creates a beautiful combination that supports both personal growth and professional development.”
Josie Harrington, www.discoverease.co.uk
🦋✨ There’s no such thing as the right time, only the time that turns out to be right for you!
“As soon as I read about the IP training, I felt a very strong pull to sign up. I was already working with clients somatically and so the content sounded very aligned, and I knew I wanted to know more. Of course, the timing was terrible — my marriage had just ended, my children were both very young and my mum had become very unwell. But I took the leap, and from that very first module I was and still am enthralled. Don’t get me wrong, the training turned me upside down, but I love the psychotherapy work and am so glad I listened to the “call.” Some part of me knew this course was right for me.”

And finally, an invitation to take care of yourself!

Tending the Edge - a new creative circle for therapists which honours the link between creativity and wellness
In September, we will be opening a new creative circle for those who hold space for others as a way of resourcing and supporting their own wellness.
The deep links between creativity and wellness have been getting more attention from the scientific community and Pilmaya Course tutor, Susan Clark, will be running a new monthly online creative circle called Tending the Edge specifically for therapists with a focus on our own inner resourcing.
The new Tending the Edge circle will gather on the third Thursday of every month from 7pm-8.30pm for 11 months from September 2026-July 2027. The cost is £30 per session if you prebook all x11 sessions and £40 PAYG.
Places are limited to 11 participants.
To book your place, email Susan at: susan@thepcip or if you are in an existing training cohort or Pilamaya graduate group, WhatsApp her to save your spot.
“The literature suggests a bidirectional relationship between creativity and well-being whereby positive affect, one of the components of wellbeing, was found to be related to creativity.”
