What would you like to see blossoming in your own life or therapy practice?

The Season of Sakura

(桜 or さくら)

This is the time of the year when Japanese families and friends all gather under a cloud of cherry blossom (Sakura) to honour the transience of life - and the fleeting beauty and impermanence of the annual spectacle of spring blossoms.

The tradition of ‘flower viewing’ is known as Hanami and reminds us that none of us are here forever and so if there are things we know, in our hearts, we want to do we may as well get on and do it now!

This is the theme of our second Pilamaya Podcast which asks the question, If not now, when?

And how this all relates to this latest Pilamaya trainings newsletter is that there is still time - just - to sign up for the new cohort of Integration Psychotherapy (IP) training which runs over 2026/2027 and is being delivered in person in the picturesque and historic village of Eyam, Derbyshire.

If there’s a voice inside your head saying now is your time, here are the details:

We do not hold another human being through technique alone. We hold them through presence, humility and the willingness to keep learning.

Introducing the new 2-Day Courses for 2026

Course 1: Understanding the Nine Dimensions Model (June 16-17, 2026)

Course 2: Introduction to Gazespotting (September 22-23, 2026)

Pilamaya-trained Integration Psychotherapy graduates are accredited by the National Council for Integrative Psychotherapists (NCIP) which is our governing body. Once you have been accepted for membership, you are required to meet a commitment of showing an additional 30 hours of continued professional development (CPD) each year in order to maintain and keep that membership.

And these two new CPD courses offered by Pilamaya founder & trainings director, Shaura Hall, give you 12 CPD hours per course, so 24 hours of the required NCIP 30 hours for 2026.

These two new Pilamaya 2-day courses will help you meet your CPD credits requirements and — for the first time ever — the pioneering Nine Dimensions teachings which form the foundation of the Integration Psychotherapy (IP) training are open to both Pilamaya IP graduates and practitioners from other disciplines.

Course 1: Understanding the Nine Dimensions Psychotherapy Model (June 16-17, 2026)

The Nine Dimensions offers a unique and holistic approach to psychotherapy which not only treats the whole person but also meets them where they are, rather than setting out with the agenda of fixing anything. You will learn to pay attention to and interpret everything that comes with your client into the therapy room — past, present and future — in order to fully support your client’s healing journey.

This 2-day workshop introducing this powerful multi dimensional therapeutic framework is delivered through a lens of deep constellation work. The course is open to psychotherapists, counsellors, somatic therapists, yoga therapists and other healthcare professionals. No previous experience of the Nine Dimensions training is required.

Dates: June 16-17

Cost: £300

Early bird sign-ups before April 30, 2026 pay a discounted rate of £255

IP Graduates pay a discounted rate of £240

All the details of the workshop here: Understanding the Nine Dimensions Psychotherapy Model

*You can also hear co-hosts, Shaura and Susan, introducing the Nine Dimensions Model in the soon-to-be released third episode of the Pilamaya Podcast.

Gazespotting offers a very gentle trauma-processing tool

Course 2: Introduction to Gazespotting (September 22-23, 2026)

This 2-day workshop introduces the idea that where we look affects how we feel and teaches that once we learn to work with the signs, we can use Gazespotting in the therapy room to directly track and trace where trauma is being held in the client’s deeper systems.

Based on cutting-edge neuroscience, Gazespotting allows the therapist to break through narrative loops and the brain’s defences to directly access the emotional processing centres and thus support clients to focus better on their own healing from trauma.

This course is open to psychotherapists, counsellors, somatic therapists, yoga therapists and other healthcare professionals. No previous experience of Gazespotting training is required.

All the details of the workshop here: Introduction to Gazespotting

Dates: September 22-23

Cost: £300

Early bird sign-ups before July 1, 2026 pay a discounted rate of £255

IP Graduates pay a discounted rate of £240

And finally… this might be the role you’ve waited for your whole life!

The Pilamaya Centre is currently seeking an intern to work over the next 12 months ‘shadowing’ Shaura Hall across all teachings, trainings and offerings in order to give technical support to her role as the director and primary facilitator of the Pilamaya trainings.

This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone — especially IP Graduates — seeking to deepen their own understanding of the trainings and for the right person, may also be a pathway into teaching for Pilamaya on future courses.

We are expecting a high level of interest in this role, which also offers an energy exchange of ongoing training and study at no charge (to be agreed with Shaura before commencement), so if you are interested, please make yourself known to us by emailing Shaura directly and asking for the full description of this exciting new role: [email protected]

The intern will support the technical and organisational aspects of online course delivery, including recording, editing, and uploading training materials. Through consistent attendance and observation of teaching events, the intern will develop a deeper understanding of the structure, philosophy, and delivery of the Integration Psychotherapy curriculum.
